The No. 180 cross fitting is a solid malleable cast iron fitting according to EN 10242 with four ¾ inch (26.9 mm) internal threads spaced at 90° angles to each other. It allows the connection of four pipe sections at a single intersection and is therefore a key element for complex pipe constructions. It weighs approximately 0.47 kg. Surface: black malleable cast iron, untreated.
In furniture making, the cross piece is often used to create multi-level shelving systems, room dividers, or sturdy frame constructions. Its right-angled tubing also provides high stability for open wardrobes and closets, while simultaneously creating a striking industrial look.
