30 mm wood screw
The 30 mm wood screw is a robust steel fastener with a black zinc-nickel finish. With a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 30 mm, it is ideal for fastening flanges and other components in furniture making and DIY projects with an industrial style. It weighs approximately 0.01 kg.
The required bit is an RW30 from Würth, which you can also purchase here in the shop.
Included in the delivery are a screw and a matching washer.

This screw is versatile: It's used for securely mounting flanges to wooden components with a thickness of 25 mm or more, such as shelves. It's also suitable for fastening to drywall partitions, provided the wall structure is prepared for it. It's important that a load-bearing OSB board is installed behind the drywall. If the wall consists of only two layers of drywall, drywall anchors, available at hardware stores, should also be used.
The wide screw head reliably conceals the drill holes in the flanges. Combined with the included black washer, this creates a clean, stable, and visually appealing connection.
